A range of initiatives are implemented to actively promote and strengthen students’ reading habits. These include monthly library sessions, class librarian meetings, and a variety of reading and writing enrichment activities and competitions conducted throughout the year, all designed to engage students and build their confidence as readers. Creative writing competitions, reading challenges, and literary events further encourage students to express their ideas and develop a deeper appreciation for literature. Through these programmes, students are guided in selecting appropriate materials, developing effective reading practices, and nurturing a lifelong interest in reading and writing.
Recognizing the vital role of reading in language development, the Library offers a rich and diverse collection of both fiction and non-fiction texts to suit varied interests and abilities. Students are also encouraged to borrow books regularly for home reading, helping to cultivate a consistent reading routine and a lifelong appreciation for literature
To promote independent learning, the Library features individual study cubicles, enabling students to work in a quiet and focused environment. Students are encouraged to develop self-discipline and take responsibility for their own learning through regular independent study.
The Library also houses a well-equipped Teachers’ Resource Centre, providing staff with access to a variety of materials to support lesson planning and enhance teaching practices.
In addition, dedicated libraries are available for Kindergarten and Primary students. These spaces are designed to create a nurturing and supervised environment, encouraging younger learners to develop a strong and lasting interest in reading.




Computer Lab:
The school has three well equipped labs with well maintained 30 Desktops in each of the 3 blocks namely the A BLOCK and the B BLOCK & D BLOCK . This number caters to the each class strength that enables each student to work on a computer machine enjoying independence. A reliable network is set up in the labs to enable sharing of resourses.
Computer is taught as a core subject from grade 1 through 12 by well trained computer teachers.C++, visual Basics, LOGO, Qbasic, MS Office, HTML, Paint are some of the areas in the syllabus covered during the academic year. The syllabus prescribed by CBSE is followed for the Senior Secondary classes.
