Co-curricular activities are instrumental for drawing out the best potentialities of the child. Boosting the place of the co-curriculum in schools will equip young people with the civic spirit, initiative and organizing skills to set up their own clubs, teams and activity groups when the leave education.
EFIA’s Cultural Fest “Mirrors-2019”, an inter-house cultural festival was conducted for the secondary and higher secondary sections (VI-XII) on 26th and 27th June 2019 in the school premises (six venues). Students showcased their talents in Co-curricular activities such as Dance, singing (Classical & western), Drama, Music, Elocution, Extempore, Poem recitation (Hindi, Malayalam & English), Mono act, Fancy dress, etc. Competitions were been carried out under three categories: Inters (grades 6 – 8), Seniors (grades 9& 10) and Super Seniors (grade 11 & 12). Students actively participated in the fest with a lot of enthusiasm and bagged many prizes in their respective fields of interest.
Along with the teachers, Students council members’ actively participated in organising the event. The Cultural festival was inaugurated by the School principal on 26th June and prizes for the winners were awarded by the Principal, Supervisors and teachers on 27th June 2019.
