Can we imagine a world without colours? Not at all! Nature itself has many colours, which makes the world look beautiful. Colours are indeed the smiles of nature.
Red colour symbolizes life, love and energy. The children dressed up beautifully in red colour clothes during their virtual class. They had different red colour objects like red rose, red teddy, red car, red apples, red strawberry, red traffic signal and so on…
Colours are one of the most basic forms in which humans view and experience the world around them. Each colour has a particular effect on our mood. The Kindergarten students (KG 1 & KG 2) of EFIA celebrated their Red Colour Day with fun and enthusiasm on May 3rd 2020 during their virtual classes.
All the children from the KG section, and their teachers, were dressed in red colour to celebrate this occasion. The virtual class began with a short prayer and PowerPoint presentation to stage the importance of the colour – red. All children spoke few sentences about the object they had with them.
‘Red Colour Day’ celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped children to sort and classify objects based on colours, thereby reinforcing cognitive skills.
