On account of Eid celebration, activities were conducted during the virtual classes in the Kindergarten on 21st May 2020, to enlighten the students about the spirit of the festival, symbolizing the unity of an international community.
Participation of students:
Children are always eager to learn new things about the world. Celebrations of all festivals enable them to develop an awareness of the world around them, and to respect the traditions and customs of different people living around them. Moreover, celebration of different religious festivals, also builds a sense of tolerance and acceptance of various forms of worship within them. In all, it helps in shaping tomorrow’s global citizens who are healthier in spirit and strength of mind.
Kindergarten students (KG 1 & KG 2) of EFIA were involved in creative activities based on the theme of Eid during their virtual classes on 21st of May.
The students of KG1 prepared special greeting cards for Eid and the students of KG2 made beautiful lanterns to decorate their homes, during their virtual classes. The enthusiastic little ones were so involved and creative, that they managed to come out with the best form of art, which they displayed during their class.
Eid is a time to celebrate and share happiness. It is also a time to forget and forgive and move on. All these values were seen in the students as they greeted each other with love and affection on this beautiful occasion.
A special assembly will be planned for the students after Eid holidays.
