ENVIRONMENT DAY ACTIVITY 2020 - KG

World Environment Day was celebrated with enthusiasm by the students of KG1 and KG2, on 7th June 2020.
The significance of World Environment Day 2020 is to demonstrate the support for environmental protection –“PROTECT OUR NATURE”.
The video and photographs showcase activities by the students of Kindergarten, on account of World Environment day.Our students are here to spread their awareness about the significance of protecting our environment and ways to do the same.
To mark the day, students and teachers dressed up in green colour clothes.
Our creative little Angels have also made use of various articles to prepare decorative items to emphasize the theme - BEST OUT OF WASTE.
Students used waste materials to showcase their creativity. They used their imagination and creativity to make innovative items. Students used egg shells, nut shells, plastic bottles, newspaper, peanut shell, beads, paper, old CD etc. All these things which are discarded in our day to day life were used in a constructive manner and variety of resourceful items were made from them. Students artistically made wall hangings, bags, piggy bank, candle holder with egg shells, night lamp with bottle, micro plants growing in egg shells and paper flowers. Our talented students showed their activities in virtual classes and developed a sense of love for the environment by speaking about their activities. The teachers appreciated the imagination of the kids and motivated them to reduce the waste to keep clean the environment and explained the importance of Environment Day.
