ENVIRONMENT DAY ACTIVITY 2020 - PRIMARY

It is the biggest annual event for positive environmental action and takes place every 5th June. The theme chosen by United Nations this year is 'Time for Nature', which reminds us to appreciate its beauty and its importance and to take forward the call to protect the Earth that we share.
If touched by nature early on in their lives, children can be spurred to protect our world and ensure its sustainability. Several activities on the theme 'Protecting mother nature' like Role play, poster making (both handmade and digital), colouring and drawing activities were conducted to bring the students closer to nature and to reinforce the idea of the beauty of nature and the harm caused to it by human negligence.
Students now know that making simple modifications in our everyday life, we can all contribute to the cause of environment protection.
