The Library is now available to all students, with a variety of subjects from which students can choose, for all the information they may need. The facility has been specially designed for easy reference and for use by more senior students. It includes access to the internet so that students can access the most up-to-date information available.
The Library has also been planned to allow for individual study, with no less than sixty cubicles where students can continue with their studies uninterrupted. They are encouraged at times to work on their own and develop a sense of personal responsibility for the effort that they make.
Classes are also held on a weekly basis to educate the students in the use of the Library: how and where to retrieve the information required. Since reading is an integral part of language development, there is an abundant store of fiction material from which to choose. Students may also borrow books for home use.
The Library is strategically placed to be the centre of activity in the school as it should be. From this position it is ideally placed to serve the whole community. Significantly, it also houses a well-equipped Teachers Resource Section, where teachers prepare their work and creatively use material that will enhance their teaching methods.
Both the Kindergarten and primary sections have their own libraries for children to use while supervised, to further encourage a love of reading.
